PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND – (June 14, 2007) – GTECH Printing Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lottomatica S.p.A., announced that the Rhode Island Lottery has chosen the Company for instant-ticket printing services, under a secondary three-year contract, commencing July 1, 2007. The contract also provides for three one-year extension options, and is the result of a competitive procurement. Under the terms of the contract, GTECH will receive 20 percent of the Lottery’s total instant-ticket orders. GTECH’s instant-ticket printing subsidiary, Creative Games International (CGI), will manufacture the tickets at its printing facility in Plant City, Florida.
